Here's the text of an e-mail I was forwarded, sent around to the Oregonian's advertising department and various campaign e-mails. Pavel Goberman, the subject of the e-mail, is running in the Democratic contest for U.S. Senate. Here it is, in all its glory:

I got a letter from high school students with Subject: Mock Election:

In our 2nd period Government class today you won the election for US
Senate. I thought this was unusual and told the students I would let
you know.
