SEIU Cuts Kroger $120,000 Check
Just in from the wire, a ginormous contribution in the Oregon AG race.
Just in the wire from the Oregon Attorney General's race, from the Willamette Week:
And now here's another block-buster. Earlier this week, Macpherson's opponent, Lewis & Clark law professor John Kroger disclosed by far the biggest contribution to this or any Oregon race this cycle—a hefty $120,000 check from SEIU.The whopping check, which comes on top of an earlier $30,000 contribution, hit the Secretary of State's reporting system just before midnight April 15.
That's a huge contribution. I've worked with the SEIU before, but wow: talk about a big'un. They must either really like Kroger or really hate Macpherson.
