Something for the ladies

Posted by Michael on March 18, 2008 at 6:46 p.m. in Politics, Religion, Health, Beer

Looking over our recent posts, I noticed that we've been hitting the politics pretty hard. As I generally don't read political blogs, that would explain my absence lately. But, fear not, loyal readers, I'm back - back, with a gift especially for the feminine readers of this blog. Introducing, vodka for women, courtesy of our dear friends, the Russians.

Apparently, this crazy Russian guy is under the impression that vodka is no more harmful than chocolate.

"In Moscow, there are pink taxis for ladies, there are light cigarettes," he said. "But there was no vodka, and we asked ourselves: 'Why?' ... More people suffer from diabetes in Russia than from alcoholism, but no one bans chocolate advertisements."

I don't know about you, but I've always drank vodka while eating my salad after working out at the gym. Hell, I drink vodka instead of water at the gym. I, for one, am pissed at this blatant sexist separation of the sexes. Drunkorexia affects men, too! Of course, in Russia I doubt it matters - this is, after all, the same country where troops were dying from drinking antifreeze because they were so desperate for booze. Mm, sweet delicious antifreeze.
