We Matter!

Look out! Here comes the Presidential primary!

Hooray! We matter again! From Jeff Mapes at the Oregonian:

It's likely that the Obama and Clinton campaigns will now begin gearing up their organizations in Oregon and it wouldn't be surprising to see either or both of the candidates make a visit soon to energize supporters in the state. They may also have an incentive to visit in late April or early May around the time that mail ballots go out for the Oregon primary. Oregon is the only state that votes entirely by mail.

With Hillary Clinton's narrow wins last night and pledges to fight on, this unholy-long primary might just get dragged out through to Oregon, and beyond. Unless Barack Obama releases his February fundraising numbers... or he announces that he has loads of superdelegates flocking his way... or Clinton realizes she cannot mathematically catch him...

Zip-a-dee-doo-dah! Go us. In all seriousness, however, it would be nice to have Obama building a strong operation here in the Beaver State.
