Kittens, or How We Need More Fun in the News
Keeping up on news, particularly political news is a little like slowly killing yourself. Each hope-burning piece solidifies your belief that everything that is wrong with the world is about to get worse. So, in order to prevent suicide, I've decide to compile a few stories here that should at least make you smile, maybe even laugh.
- A couple who couldn't afford their wedding album received it anyway, 27 years later.
- An Oregon man has started fishing "pointless", cutting off the points of his flies, which still allows for the excitement of the catch, but does not irreparably harm the fish.
- Johnny Depp's daughter is all right after being treated for sepsis following a prick with a rusty tack. Production of Sweeney Todd was put on hold to let Johnny be with his daughter, an atypical move in the movie industry where delays mean huge bucks.
- A man who found a wedding ring half-buried in the sand took the time to find its owner, all with the help of some librarians of course.
- An anonymous donor paid most of a man's $1,200 water bill when it ran continuously while was on an extended trip. The water utility forgave the rest, owing to their not following policies on large usage increases.
I feel better already.

Well done. Way to think outside the box and be adventuresome, like this little guy. Or at least adventuresome, because he's certainly in a box.

First, FAIL. Second, thank you for not uploading any LOLcatz. I considered that possibility the greatest threat of this post.

I suck at this internet game. Thankfully, I have Michael.
And no, it was just a picture of a cute kitten I took the other day. Showed up to take photos of Native American Youth Association dancers for work, and as a bonus got sucked in to animals being put up for adoption.
And LOLCATS? Please. My taste far outstrip my "Markdown" abilities.
Now HALOLCATS on the other hand sounds like a great idea.
