Croquet, Witigonen Style
Ben and I were at the park earlier today. We played catch. Yes, we like baseball. I know you don't. Too bad. This post isn't about baseball. It's about croquet. Witigonen style.
After Ben and I realized that we were pathetic weaklings, from hours of doing things like sitting in front of the computer and writing blog posts, we started to wander back from the park and the subject of croquet came up. You see, in normal croquet, it is very difficult to get ahead after a person or group has pulled away. Luckily, we came up with a solution: namely, at the beginning of every turn, a person has to take a drink. After every successful wicket, another drink. The more successful you are, the more difficult it becomes to keep being successful.
This is, of course, a generic solution that can be applied to almost every activity. For instance, Perfect Dark, or Mario Kart, or success in life (protip for the latter: check these out)
In true Witigonen style, we're going to be doing Witigonen Croquet this coming week. If you're interested in joining us, let us know!

I'm putting the last wicket in the side of a tree again.

Oh my God, I had completely forgotten about that. That was amazing.
(to those who are confused: at a birthday party a few years ago, we set up a croquet course that included wickets stuck in the sides of trees)
I think you're right that the key to this game (aside from lots of booze, of course) is going to be to make a bunch of extra wickets and start the course out really easy and then have it get progressively harder.

Okay, tomorrow (Sunday, the 15th) at 2pm in Colonel Summers Park, which is the park at SE 20th and Belmont. We'll be bringing out an awesome croquet set, so show up.

Could probably get there, but it'd be hard to get home drunk.
